Relativity Media has several horror films slated for 2016, including The Strangers 2. The sequel to the 2008 film, starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, is set to premiere on December 2nd, 2016.
We reported back in January that The Strangers 2 was set to begin production, directed by Marcel Langenegger , based on the screenplay written by Ben Ketal (Chosen). It has been reported that Liv Tyler will make a brief appearance as Kristen McKay, her character from the first film. No other cast have been announced at this time.
The Strangers 2 focuses on the story of a family, fallen on hard times. They have been forced to leave their home due to financial troubles. Now, the family of four must fight for survival in a deserted trailer park, while being hunted by three savage, ax wielding siblings.
