Scott Cawthon, the developer of the crazy popular horror game series “Five Nights at Freddy’s” has announced a confirmed release date and a suspenseful trailer giving fans a peek of what to expect in the latest and what is said to be the last in the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” series. Although the picture above says it’s due on Halloween it will actually release on August 8th 2015 as a way to commemorate the release of the first game which will be celebrating its 1-year anniversary. On Halloween though Scott has confirmed DLC will be released for the game as a free update.
For those who are unfamiliar with the “Five Night’s at Freddy’s” series, It places you as a night security guard for “Freddie Fazbear’s” which is a parody of “Chuckie Cheese”. At night though the animatronics come to life and hunt you down, given only a flashlight, integrate security camera set up, security doors and a limited power supply you must survive until 6AM for 5 nights. If you survive you get a paycheck at the end of the week, if you fail then you a killed by either a bear, a rabbit a bird or a fox. I’m not doing this game any justice by describing it, just check it out for yourself and the trailer for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” which seems to take you out of the restaurant local and put you into a nice house. Thanks to Markiplier for the footage, warning he does swear a bit.
I personlly enjoyed most of the “5 Nights at Freddy’s” games with really only the third being the weakest but when it comes to atmosphere “5 Night” always delivers and of course the iconic jump scares that the series has been known for will probably be amazing this time around. “Five Night’s At Freddy’s 4” will be released on August 8th 2015 on PC.
