Rob Zombie has begun filming 3 From Hell, the follow up to The Devil’s Rejects. He announced last week that Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, and Sheri Moon Zombie are onboard for the sequel and will be joined by Austin Stoker (Assault on Precinct 13), and Jan Hoag (Faster). Zombie has since revealed another cast member, scream queen Dee Wallace, known for her roles in Cujo, E.T., The Howling, and most recently Death House. “Nightflyers” Series Finds New Showrunner And First Look Trailer

Earlier this year, Syfy ordered the series adaptation of “Game of Thrones’ author George R. R. Martin’s 1980 novella “Nightflyers”, which had a film adaptation back in 1987. Tracking Board reported today that Daniel Cerone, the “Nightflyers” showrunner has departed over creative difference. ‘Pet Sematary’ Remake Set To Begin Filming

Back in December, we reported that Paramount Pictures had set a date for the remake of Stephen King’s classic Pet Sematary. We’ve now learned that the film is set to begin filming in Toronto, Canada this May. The writing/directing duo of Kevin Kolsh and Dennis Widmyer, the team behind Starry Eyes, will be directing from the script penned by Jeff Buhler and David Kajgnich. The cast has yet to be announced, but Dale Midkiff, who played the lead in the original seemed optimistic during our interview last week that the remake might be good after asking his opinion. Maybe it’ll be good, you never know.” The story, first published in 1983, centers on Louis Creed and his wife Rachel who have just moved with their two children into a home near a busy road. Soon they learn of a Pet Sematary near their property, where legend has it that animals buried there come back to life. When his daughter’s cat

Dale Midkiff Talks ‘Pet Semetary’, ‘Hell’s Kitty’, And Cows In An Interview

When I got the opportunity to interview Dale Midkiff, I jumped at the chance. I’ll be honest I may have even had a “fangirl” moment while talking with Dale, the star of one of my favorite classic horror films, Pet Sematary. While he was amazing the film, he’s also had so many roles in a lot of great films and series, including “The Magnificant Seven” series, The Crow: Salvation, Deep Rescue, Flight of the Living Dead, “Dexter”, and most recently Hell’s Kitty. Hell’s Kitty is a cameo-filled horror comedy from writer-director Nicholas Tana about a man and his possessed cat Angel. The cast of Hell’s Kitty sounds like a who’s who of horror with cameos from Midkiff, Doug Jones (The Shape of Water), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), John Franklin (Children of the Corn), Kelli Maroney (Night of the Comet), and Lynn Lowry (The Crazies). Horror Fuel: “You were amazing in ‘Pet Sematary’.

Since birth, Anna (Bel Powley) has been raised in isolation by a man she knows only as Daddy (Brad Dourif) who has done everything possible to conceal the truth about the girl’s origins from her. But when the teenage Anna is suddenly thrust into the real world under the protection of no-nonsense police officer Ellen (Liv Tyler), it soon becomes clear that the young woman is far from ordinary. Unable to adjust to a normal life, Anna finds herself drawn instead to the wild freedom of the forest while struggling to resist the growing bloodlust that has awakened inside her. It’s fitting that we are sharing this news on St. Patrick’s Day. Syfy Wire has just announced that next year we will witness a new sequel to the Leprechaun franchise, Leprechaun Returns. The new installment of the original series has already found its director, Steven Kostanski (The Void). Taylor Spreitler (Kevin Can’t Wait), Pepi Sonuga (Ash vs Evil Dead), Sai Bennett (Lake Placid: Legacy), Emily Reid, Oliver Llewellyn-Jenkins, Ben McGregor will star. Mark Holton will be returning to reprise his role as Ozzie. Unfortunately, Warwick Davis will not reprise his role as the leprechaun, but he did say that Kostanski did a great job of casting his replacement, Linden Porco. “The film picks up 25 years after the events of the 1993 original, which found a maniacal Leprechaun doing whatever it takes (including committing gruesome murder) to track down his stolen pot of gold.
