Things Get Devilish In The New Season 2 Trailer For Lucifer

It’s almost time for Lucifer to return, I’ll be honest, I’ve missed the little devil. Tom Ellis stars as Lucifer Morningstar, a handsome, charismatic man, or at least he appears to be. Lucifer, tired of Hell, heads to L.A. where he can live the good life and where he has been spending time helping Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German), who he has the hots for, on her investigations. Unfortunately, his brother angel Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) has other plans, like returning Lucifer to his throne in Hell. However, in the season 1 finale there’s a snag, Lucifer and Amenadiel learn that his mother has broken out of her cage and headed top-side. Now, they must team up to stop her. Charlotte, the mother from hell, will be played by Battlestar Galactica actress Tricia Helfer. The Canadian star will appear alongside returning cast members Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachel Harris and Scarlett Estevez who plays Chloe’s daughter. Aimee Garcia has also joined

Marilyn Manson Stars As A Killer In Let Me Make You A Martyr

Marilyn Manson, a name synonyms with intense, amazing musical talent (I’m a big fan), should also be recognized for his acting talent. He killed it in his role as Ron Tully in Sons of Anarchy. Now he’s killing again, as a hitman in his latest film project, a crime thriller, Let Me Make You A Martyr, which just premiered at Fantasia Film Festival and is already getting great reviews. Manson was recruited by his fellow SOA actor and friend, Mark Boone who plays Manson’s partner-in-crime in Let Me Make You A Martyr, written and directed by Corey Asraf and John Swab. Mark brought me onto the project. We were friends from Sons of Anarchy.” Manson says. “He’s sort of my unwanted mentor. He tells me what to do. He’s always encouraged me, but he’s also very bossy about it. He says things like “You gotta do this motherfucker. You’ll like this.” After reading the script and realizing the character’s intensity

Jurassic World 2 Set To Begin Filming

Jurassic World 2, the highly anticipated sequel to 2015’s dino blockbuster, is almost ready to begin filming in Hawaii this February, though the film is actually set in another location. Both of Jurassic World’s stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be returning for part 2 under the direction of J.A. Bayona. This film is said to be about more than just dinosaurs trapped on an island. In an interview with Wired Magazine the film’s writer, Colin Trevorrow, said something interesting that may be a hint towards the sequel’s plot. [It will not be] just a bunch of dinosaurs chasing people on an island, that’ll get old real fast.” He continued.”What if there are 15 different entities around the world who can make a dinosaur? So far, every film in the franchise has mainly been about a bunch of people stuck on an island with the once extinct creatures. It would be nice to see a film with a

A First Look At STARZ’s American Gods (Trailer)

The San Diego Comic Con is in full swing and one of the many trailers that deputed this weekend is for STARZ’s adaption of brilliant writer Neil Gaiman’s novel American Gods (2001). Gaiman also serves as executive producer for the series. American Gods centers on the battle brewing between the Old Gods and the New Gods. The Old Gods are rooted in mythology and the religions of days gone by. The New Gods have found their footing thanks to people’s obsession with money, technology, celebrities, and drugs. The series will also deal with issues such as women’s rights, gun control, racial divides, incarceration and other aspects of today’s society. Executive producer and co-writer Brian Fuller co-wrote the script for American Gods with Michael Green. The two are also working as co-showrunners. David Slade will be in the director’s chair for several episodes, including the pilot. Dane Cook will co-star along side Gillian Anderson (Media), Ricky Whittle (Shadow Moon), Ian McShane

Bates Motel Announces Rihanna Cast For Its Final Season

One of the announcements to come during the San Diego Comic Con is that Bates Motel will have one final season. That’s not a big surprise considering that we said good-bye to Norma (Vera Farmiga) at the end of season 4. There was some good news during the panel, the iconic character of Marion Crane will be played by music superstar Rihanna. We reported back in May that the character would be checking into the Motel, though at the time the casting had not been announced. Image: Calebmafia.com It leaves little doubt that Rihanna and Freddie Highmore (Norman) will recreate one of the most iconic scenes in the history of horror, the shower scene featured in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 film Psycho, featuring the character Marion Crane (Janet Leigh) being stabbed to death by Norman Bates, dressed as his mother. Executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin, have known from the end of season one exactly how the series would play

Adam Wingard’s The Woods Is Actually A Blair Witch Sequel !

One of the biggest stories to come out of this weekend’s San Diego Comic Con is that Lionsgate has pulled a fast one, sneaky bastards. Adam Wingard’s The Woods is actually a sequel to Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez’s 1999’s hit The Blair Witch Project. Back in April we reported that another sequel was in the works, but last night news came that the sequel has been here all long, under the title The Woods, and it has a new name, Blair Witch. I have no idea how they kept this quiet for so long (3 years). But with such a great director and a list of heavy hitters producing, we knew the film was going to big from the start. Adam Wingard has a list of great films on his resume, including You’re Next, The Guest, and V/H/S and V/H/S 2. Blair Witch was penned by Simon Barrett, Wingard’s long time collaborator. Those “heavy hitters” I was referring to,
