A New ‘Wrong Turn’ Is Headed Your Way

It seems Hollywood’s obsession with remakes shows no sign of slowing. The latest film to be getting a new version is 2003’s hillbilly freak fest Wrong Turn, which spawned six sequels. Fans of the franchise can sigh a small breath of relief though because franchise creator Alan McElroy is writing the new script and The Domestics’ Mike P. Nelson will be in director’s chair. In the original film, six people find themselves trapped in the woods of West Virginia, hunted down by cannibalistic mountain men, disfigured by generations of inbreeding.
