I know what you’re thinking…and yes, pretzel Combos do suck…oh, and this film is probably a porno, what with the word “orgies” front and center in the title; but believe me, when I detail the subject matter at hand you’ll be thankful it’s just one of your average, run of the mill, unbelievably sadistic flicks featuring a parade of violence towards women. Phew, dodged a bullet there, eh boils n’ ghouls? Anyway, Orgies of Edo is comprised of three tales, and we’ll be taking a brief look at each one. After whatever the unholy hell the opening of this film is (I can tell you it features some sort of human drag queen marionette and a woman with four titties), we begin our first story which details the heartwarming adventures of Oito (Masumi Tachibana); a naive woman who is sold into prostitution, suffers torture and humiliation, and enters into a love affair with the man responsible for her miserable lot

The Paz brothers, known for their supernatural film JeruZalem (review), have a new film on its way titled The Golem. I sat down for a chat with Yoav Paz, one half of the writing and directing duo, to talk about JeruZalem, The Golem and much more. Horror Fuel: “I really enjoyed JeruZalem. It’s a great, unique film. Was it actually filmed in Jerusalem? Yoav Paz: “It was. Some of it was filmed in Nazareth and other old cities. It was just an hour’s drive from where I live in Telavive, driving there is like driving to a different country. We are working on the sequel which will also be filmed there. We are almost done with the script.” Horror Fuel: “That is fantastic news! I can’t wait to see it! Was it hard to arrange to film in those cities?” Yoav Paz: “We kept a low profile with a little crew. We shot a lot in the streets and in

Once there she finds her hot A.F. sister and her degenerate friends have taken up residence on the lower level of the house. Speaking of those friends, one of them looks like he’s the lead singer in a Harvey Danger cover-band…seriously, just look at this flagpole sitta… Anyway, while those reprobates are squatting on the lower level of the house, while Natalia’s father lie bandaged and in shock in a weird angled attic surrounded by nightmarish paintings. Soon Natalia accompanies her sister’s friends on a trek deep into the jungle to find a drug that supposedly cures the soul, but in turn releases the darkness within causing Natalia to face the duality of her family’s past as well as her very existence…a virginal holy woman, and a

A group of young rascals go in search of a remote lagoon (seriously, is that a thing that college kids even do???), and along the way a thumb falls from the sky and collides with their car. Why does this happen? Well, the answer is one that these boobs and most of you could never guess (unless you read the film’s title and watched it’s cold open…fuck, okay…you could have guessed it, but the characters couldn’t)…and that answer is that a crow was feasting on a living scarecrow hanging in the field of a demented farmer and dropped that shit like a thumb turd on the hood of said automobile. Anyhow, our heroes find the lagoon, they splash around, their car gets stolen, and they of course run afoul of that freaky farmer which makes their life choice of not being turned into scarecrows a bit complicated. Scarecrows is a film of flip-floppin’ paradigms, and at that game, this fright

This December bring home the frightening supernatural flick The Nun, both a spin-off and a prequel to The Conjuring II. In the movie, “when a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in The Conjuring II, as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.” The Nun stars Oscar nominee Demian Bichir (“A Better Life”) as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga (TV’s “American Horror Story”) as Sister Irene, Charlotte Hope (TV’s “Game of Thrones”) as the abbey’s Sister Victoria and Ingrid Bisu (“Toni Erdmann”) as Sister Oana, Jonas Bloquet (Elle) as local villager

Randal (Irshaad Ally) has got his ass in some dire freakin’ straits; you see, he owes money to the local loan shark, Emmie (Danny Ross), who makes late payments a death sentence and to some thugs that have broken Randal’s back and left him confined to a wheelchair. As fate (and Hitchcock) would have it; Randal’s girlfriend Pam (Monique Rockman) gives our crippled hero a pair of binoculars with which he discovers a way out of his shitty sitch as he spies the fact that his neighbor, the gangster Lawyer (David Manuel), has a sack of cash just waiting to be stolen in his apartment…more than enough to settle the score with those he owes that multitude of greenbacks, plus live the easy life. But how will he go about robbin’ that gangster and makin’ the dash? Comprised of a number of innovative trappings (that knife wielding albino springs to mind), ratcheting tension, and an effective use of a single

What’s more, some of the original people involved with NOTD will be part of Night of the Living Dead II which is expected to be released sometime in late 2019. At this time the company is keeping the details hush, hush, but with something this big, it’s only a matter of time before we learn more. They did have this to say: That history and Night of the Living Dead’s place on the Mt. Rushmore of horror films is known by most horror fans and people all over the world. But, unknown to most is that in the 1970’s, the original writers
