Odds are, by now, you have seen the “Five Nights At Frieddy’s in Real Life” video on the Socks YouTube channel. To say it has gone viral is an understatement, reaching 9.1 million views in its first week. The video sees a group competing in multiple challenges while trapped in a recreation of Five Nights at Freddy’s. But who created the fantastic characters, and how did they do it? The answer is Lee Romaire and his team at Romaire Studios. As for how they brought the creatures to life, Romaire filled me in on the process and much more in our interview (below). Romaire has had a remarkable career in the film industry, working on projects like War of the World, Van Helsing, Scoob-Doo, and the hilarious movie White Chicks, to name a few. The new Stephen King adaptation of the vampire tale Salem’s Lot has been in limbo for the past few years, having wrapped production in 2021. It was set for a theatrical release in 2022, but it didn’t happen. It appears it is finally heading for release, but it may not be coming to theaters. According to Variety, it is heading straight to MAX. So, will we see Salem’s Lot premiere in theaters or on MAX? That still has not been confirmed. At this point, the real question is, will we ever see it? It was first set to be released in September of 2022. It was hit with its first delay and rescheduled for April of 2023 but was pulled from the schedule before it could debut. It doesn’t bode well for a film to be delayed this many times. When a movie is treated like this by the studio, it’s usually because they know it won’t be well received,

Last year’s based on a true crime mini-series, “Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story,” starring Evan Peters, made waves, garnering acclaim from viewers and critics alike with over 196.2 million viewers in its first week alone on Netflix, according to Variety. News has now come that creator and showrunner Ryan Murphy has chosen his next subject for the series that tells the “stories of other monstrous figures who have impacted society.” Season two of the series will explore the crimes of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the brothers who butchered their parents. Netflix made the announcement with a teaser for “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” which you can watch below. The Crime The brothers butchered their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menéndez, in their Beverly Hills home On August 20, 1989. Lyle and Erik entered the living room where their parents were sitting, carrying Mossberg 12-gauge shotguns. They shot their father six times. Their mother, Kitty, was shot ten

In the film, directed by Dusty Austen, “After a near-catastrophic 2nd civil war, the Internet is a thing of the past. A lonely young woman named Becca finds a decimated robot in a post-war junkyard. When she discovers it’s CPU A.I. is aware, the two develop an unlikely friendship. It’s only when she agrees to build a new body that its intentions become violently revealed, and the bloodshed begins. Buckle-up cats n’ creeps, because if you’ve never heard of 2008’s Deadgirl you are definitely in for a raised fuckin’ eyebrow or two, to say the very least… One hot day, high school chums Rickie (Shiloh Fernandez) and J.T. (Noah Segan) take a powder from school, and decide to hang out at Ye Olde Abandoned Psychiatric Hospital. Once there they find a naked, mute woman (Jenny Spain) lashed to a table. Naturally J.T. near-immediately wants to rape the woman, but Rickie is wisely none too keen on that particular action and books… but later J.T. reveals the girl is an undead creature as he attempted to put a murder on her to no avail. Still with me… if so, you can probably already gauge if this particular flick is your cup of terror tea or not. After four years, the indie horror film Paralyzed with Fear, written and directed by Glenn Berggoetz, was finally released. Horror icon Kane Hodder, known for his roles in the Friday the 13th franchise as Jason Vorhees and the Hatchet franchise, stars alongside Haidyn Harvey and Andrea Rabold. In the film, “When a 15th-century demon is unleashed on a house full of women, he won’t stop until he has destroyed them all.” Paralyzed with Fear is out now on Prime Video from Bayview Entertainment.

It has just been announced that IFC Films and Shudder have acquired Image Nation and Spooky Pictures’ acclaimed supernatural thriller Late Night with the Devil. Written, directed, and edited by Australian filmmakers Cameron and Colin Cairnes (100 Bloody Acres, Scare Campaign), the film stars David Dastmalchian (The Suicide Squad, Oppenheimer), who plays the charismatic Late-Night talk show host Jack Delroy, whose live broadcast unexpectedly unleashes evil into the nation’s living rooms.
