A Game Turns Deadly In The Anthology ‘100 Candles’ – Out Today On DVD & Digital

Today, Devilworks is releasing the chilling new supernatural horror anthology film 100 Candles about a game gone terribly wrong. “100 Candles centers around a game that traps a group of friends, as they tell one another horror tales in front of a magical mirror, by candlelight. One story for every candle, they cannot leave the game until all candles are out; otherwise, they will fall victim to a witch’s curse.” Amy Smart, George Blagden, Sibyl Gregory, and Dee Bradley Baker star in 100 Candles, produced by Nicolas Onetti and Michael Kraetzer. 100 Candles is now available on streaming platforms, DVD, and on Digital.

Horror Icons Fill The Cast Of Serial Killer Horror ‘Jasper’

Award-winning writer-director Keith Vaile will unleash a serial killer in his new film, Jasper, starring horror icons Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Bill Mosely (The Devil’s Rejects), Emmy-winner Bill Oberst Jr. (The Chair), and Kane Hodder from both the Friday the 13th franchise and the Hatchet franchise. In Jasper, a young woman (Erin O’Brien) and her friends a stalked by a vicious serial killer who uses the hogs on his small southwestern farm to dispose of bodies. Shaun Cairo (Pitchfork), Judy Fox, and Keith Vaile produce. Unmanned Media will release Jasper on February 25, 2022.

Fathom Celebrating ‘Stand By Me’s’ 35th Anniversary With Special Theatrical Run

Fathom Events is celebrating the 35th anniversary of director Rob Reiner’s coming of age thriller Stand By Me with a limited run in select theaters nationwide on Sunday, May 23rd and Wednesday, May 26th. An adaptation of Stephen King‘s novella The Body, the film released in 1986 was a hit with both critics and viewers earning itself a cult status quickly. Frank Grillo & Bruce Willis Star In The Action-Thriller ‘A Day To Die’

Vertical Entertainment has acquired U.S. distribution rights to the action-thriller A Day to Die, which recently wrapped shooting in Jackson, Mississippi. Frank Grillo (Captain America and The Purge franchises, “Kingdom,” and Boss Level), Bruce Willis (Die Hard franchise), Leon (“City on a Hill,” Cool Runnings), and Kevin Dillon (Platoon, “Entourage”) lead the cast that also includes Gianni Capaldi, Brooke Butler, Vernon Davis, Mohamed Karim, Alexander Kane, and introducing Curtis Nichouls. This Summer, A Group Of Teens Unleash The ‘Queen Of Spades’ During A Game

A supernatural entity is unleashed after a group of teens plays a Bloody Mary-style game in Queen of Spades, by director Patrick White. “According to legend, an ominous entity known as the Queen of Spades can be summoned by performing an ancient ritual. Joaquin Phoenix Starring In Ari Aster’s ‘Disappointment BLVD’

Academy Award-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix, known for his roles in films such as Joker, Gladiator, and Walk the Line has found his next project, he’ll be starring in Disappointment Blvd from Hereditary and Midsommar director Ari Aster. Set to begin filming in Montreal late this summer, there is little known about Disappointment Blvd, except that it is a horror film with comedic undertones, which Aster describes as a “nightmare comedy.”. According to IMDB, the film is said to be “A decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.” We’ll update you when we know more.
