‘The Thaumaturge’ Release Date Delayed

Previously, 11 Bit Studios and Fool’s Theory announced their dark RPG The Thaumaturge would be released in December of this year. Today they have announced that the game’s launch will be delayed till after the new year. As finishing touches and polishing were underway for the initial release, the team saw more opportunities to improve the quality of The Thaumaturge even more for players and decided to push back the release date for a more flawless experience for fans. The Thaumaturge is a narrative-focused RPG, players take on the role of Wiktor Szulski, a thaumaturge on a quest to make peace with his past. Unfolding in 1905 Warsaw, the story revolves around the complex theme of inner demons and how that can mean more than just a mental burden in this world. Game Review: ‘Slender: The Arrival’

Ten years ago, the first official game based on the internet sensation Slender Man, Slender: The Arrival, was released, and YouTube was never the same again. Now, new and old players of the game can enjoy it with updated graphics and extra content with the new 10th-anniversary version of Slender: The Arrival. Slender: The Arrival takes players to a mysterious forested area full of abandoned sites as Laura, a young woman searching for her friend Kate who has suddenly gone missing from her family home after her encounter with a mysterious Slender Man. Slender: The Arrival‘s controls are simple and more likely the same as they were back when the game first came out, I’ll admit I’ve never played it before. Game Review: ‘No Son Of Mine’

At Fear Fest 2023, attendees were given a surprise on the first day of the event, a game launch. That game was Pleasantly Friendly Games and Feardemic’s No Son of Mine. The game was first launched on PS5, Switch, and PC at the time but has recently been released on Xbox, and Feardemic was awesome enough to send over a copy (thanks by the way!). No Son of Mine is a first-person survival horror where you search for clues about your mysterious pursuer, a demonic child. No Son of Mine‘s controls are limited, so they’re simple to remember. The audio is decent and the soundtrack helps set the mood, especially when things get spookier. No Son of Mine‘s gameplay is relatively simple, you explore the map looking for clues as they help you progress, as well as offer you some insight into the story. Looking at it at face value, Little Goody Two Shoes looks like weeb fodder that many gamers will steer clear of, but with a darker tone hidden between the bright and colorful anime appearance, it’s quite intriguing. Game Review: ‘Stray Souls’

Happy Halloween! Nothing better to celebrate it than with a spooky game, am I right? Well, that was what I was hoping for with Jukai Studio’s and Versus Evil’s Stray Souls, a horror survival that I’ve been excited about since I was first told about it. I appreciate Jukai and Versus Evil for allowing this reviewing opportunity but, I’m sorry to say that this was a rough one to get through. Let’s get the positive parts of the game out of the way first. The soundtrack is possibly the selling point for the game with famed gaming composer Akira Yamaoka on board. The only issue is that while playing Stray Souls, I was able to make out at least two songs that were done by him, causing me to wonder if he only did a couple of songs for this game.
