Final Destination – A Look Back At The Deadly Franchise

A few days ago, news came that Tony Todd has confirmed that Final Destination 6 is finally entering production. I thought it would be a good time to take a stroll down memory lane and look back at the films that make up the death-filled franchise. The franchise began in 2000 with the first movie, directed by James Wong. Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Sean Williams Scott, Amanda Detmer, and Tony Todd star in this fan favorite. After a teenager has a terrifying vision of himself and his friends dying in a plane crash, he prevents their deaths by exiting the plane. Moments later, the plane departs and blows up mid-air. Now Death is hunting them down, one by one. . . Final Destination 2, released in 2003 and directed by David R. Ellis, stars Tony Todd, Ali Larter, A.J. Cook, Michael Landes, David Paetkau, James Kirk, Keegan Connor Tracy, Jonathan Cherry, Terrance Carson, Justina Machado, and Alejandro Rae. The movie

The Park (2015) PC Review

“The Park” is a short narrative horror game (approx 3-4 hours’ gameplay) set in a derelict theme park. Seeking your son who has run ahead of you and has vanished out of sight. As you search for him, you’ll start to unravel the history of the park as well as begin to experience more of the horrors within both the park and yourself. It’s a game that probably merits the unfortunate tag “walking simulator” similar to Firewatch but in a positive way. It doesn’t feel forced in any way. The game is VERY atmospheric. If you’ve ever wanted to explore a terrifying amusement park after-hours but don’t have the guts to in real life and because it’s highly illegal I’m sure, this is the game for you! There are a few jump-scares but they are executed well and in no way cheap or tacky. A great play for fans of games like ‘Outlast’ and ‘Amnesia’ although not as hands-on as

High-Octane Action Meets Horror In The Horde

The Horde, directed by Jared Cohn and written by Paul Logan, is a cross between The Hills Have Eyes and Rambo. It’s high-octane action combined with horror. The star, Paul Logan first dealt with mutants, of the fish variety, in Mega Piranha. Now, he faces mutants once again in The Horde. Logan stars as John, a former Navy Seal, joining his girlfriend and her photography class on a camping trip deep in the woods. On the way to their camping site they stop for a bite in the nearby backwater town. A couple of men playing pool set their sites on the women in the group. Of course, John handles business. Once at the camp site the students head out in to the woods to take photos. But we all know that kids running about in the woods in a horror film never goes well for their characters.
