You may remember a while back that I reviewed The Infected: Jim’s First Day by Joseph ‘Zombie’ Zuko. The sequel to this book, The Infected: Karen’s First Day is available TODAY 6/13/15 through Amazon. Mr. Zuko was generous enough to send me a copy of the book prior to its release so I could share the details with all of you! Book Description: Raising kids is tough. Keeping them alive as the zombie apocalypse begins is tougher. But that’s exactly what stay-at-home mom Karen needs to do: fight fiercely to keep her young daughters safe as her husband Jim battles his way across the city, so they can escape the carnage together. On the worst day of her life, Karen finds that she will do anything to protect her family, and that the line between life and death has teeth. Originality & Entertainment: 5/5 & 5/5 Unless I’ve been reading books in the wrong circles, I’m fairly certain that I

Jen and Sylvia Soska, known as the “Twisted Twins” are getting ready to direct their latest project ‘Plastic’. ‘Plastic’ follows the story of a renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, who risks everything to find the truth behind the grotesque disfigurement of an international pop star. Frank Strausser penned the screenplay, based on the adaption of his own novel by the same name. The movie is now in preproduction. The directing duo have titles such as ‘American Mary’, ‘See No Evil 2’ and their latest film, ‘Vendetta’ starring Dean Cain, under their fashionable belts. These two fantastic women, who mostly work within the horror genre, are not only talented, they are also extremely in touch with their legion of fans. They are my favorite up and coming directors. I look forward to following the careers of Jen and Sylvia and I can’t wait to see ‘Plastic’. We will keep you posted as the movie develops. To learn more about the Soska

There is no doubt that the 26 foot monster, nicknamed Bruce, scared an entire generation of beach goers. Now Bruce is running a close race with a real life beast. The (real) Great White next to a boat. The shark, named “Deep Blue” is a massive Great White over 20 feet long. Deep Blue is one of, if not the, biggest Great Whites ever caught on film. “Deep Blue” was caught on camera during the taping of a Discovery Channel program last year. The footage was captured near Mexico’s Guadalupe Island. The team was able to tag the shark, that is estimated to be around 50 years old, before she headed to a feed off of a seal colony. To top things off, at the the time of the encounter Deep Blue was heavily pregnant and tipping the scales

As They Rise by J.M. Wilde is not the typical YA zombie book, but that is because J. M. Wilde is not the average independent author. As They Rise is a novella which was originally released on Wattpad. The novella has undergone vast revisions in order to produce a publishable work, as have the other two complete novels which complete the series. While available for free the series became a Wattpad featured story, was featured on The Huffington Post, and gained over 3 million combined reads. The author, J.M. Wilde was kind enough to send me a copy of the novella to review with you in honor of the impending book release. Needless to say, I was very curious. I’m always excited to read a series when I know there are already several installments completed, plus finding one outside of the U.S. is always an adventure, so it was an added bonus to find a series with such high praise
