Doug Jones stars in the upcoming film The Bye Bye Man along side Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas, Lucien Laviscount, Michael Trucco, Carrie-Anne Moss and Faye Dunaway . Jones, who has starred in films such as Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth and Crimson Peak, is known for his amazing transformations. In this film he will play the supernatural entity “The Bye Bye Man”.
“Set in 1990’s Wisconsin, when three college students move into an old house off campus, the unwittingly unleash a supernatural entity known as The Bye Bye Man, who comes to prey upon them once they discover his name. The friends must try to save each other, all while keeping his The Bye Bye Man’s existence a secret to save others from the same deadly fate.”
The film, directed by Stacy Title, was penned by Jonathon Penner and was based on Robert Damon Schneck’s short story “The Bridge to Body Island”. It was produced by Trevor Macy for Intrepid, and Simon Horsman and Jeffrey Soros for Los Angeles Media Fund.
The Bye Bye Man will arrive in theaters this summer, on June 3rd.
