The found footage supernatural film JeruZalem, both written and directed by Doron and Yoav Paz, arrives on RedBox April 26th.

There are three gates to Hell. One in the desert…One in the ocean…And one in…Jeruzalem. On judgement Day, Hell shall inherit the Earth…

The film centers on Rachel (Yael Grobglas) and Sarah (Danielle Jadelyn), two American women who board a plane and meet a charming young archaeologist named Kevin (Yon Tumarkin). He persuades the young women to travel with him to Jerusalem. Once they arrive at the hostel Rachel strikes up a romance with Omar (Tom Graziani) while Sarah and Kevin grow closer. Things suddenly take a turn for the worst when Kevin begins to think that something is happening, and he’s right, the biblical apocalypse has begun. Suddenly demons begin to flood the city, infecting people they come in contact with. Rachel, Sarah, Kevin and Omar, along with the rest of the city are now fighting to find away out.

The entire film is seen from Sarah’s point of view, through a pair of Google glasses and it was a perfect fit for the film. Everything is so well balanced. The action, horror and story are so well timed. Jadelyn, Grobglas and Tumarkin really stand out and gave a great performance and the creatures are not something you will soon forget. JaruZalem accomplished something that few films have, it spooked me. From the beginning you are drawn into the story. With its many twists and turns, the film grabs your attention and holds it tight. The Paz brothers have delivered a unique film with a great story, great actors and truly creepy demons. I strongly recommend that you pick up a copy. Luckily, it is has just been released on DVD in the UK and VOD in the states and will be available on RedBox April 26th from the Epic Pictures Group.
