‘Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale’ Christmas Special Announced

The Second season of Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” is currently in production and is expected to premiere next year on the streaming giant. The good news is, we won’t have to wait until then for another taste of the series that has cast a spell on fans. Netflix is releasing a Sabrina holiday special next month. In the special, “The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year—when families gather together around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols, tell ghost stories and huddle against the supernatural creatures that come out to cause mischief. Since the Winter Solstice is when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest, it’s the perfect time to conduct a séance—which Sabrina convenes, to try and contact her mother. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors—both welcome and unwelcome—and you never know what might come down the chimney.” Titled

Shudder Releasing Banned Faux Documentary GHOSTWATCH

BBC’s Ghostwatch made waves in the UK back in 1992. Starring journalists and television stars, many fans believed what they were watching was real when the group investigated the most haunted house in Britain. The genre streaming service Shudder is releasing the faux documentary for the first time in the US. Produced as part of the anthology series Screen One, Ghostwatch was aired like a live investigation, not a film, and was banned after 30,000 panicked calls to BBC in only an hour. It never re-aired in the UK again because of the panic it caused. And it was never released on DVD. Michael Parkinson, Sarah Greene, Mike Smith, Craig Charles, Gillian Bevan, Brid Brennan, Michael Wesson, Cherise Wesson, and Chris Miller co-star in the film, directed by Lesley Manning, that spooked viewers so much one woman called in asking for money because her paratrooper husband pooped his pants.
