The last update we published on the long-awaited third film of the Jeepers Creepers franchise was back in February. Today, we have fresh news on Jeepers Creepers 3 via Bloody Disgusting. According to their source, Gina Philips will be returning to reprise her role as “Tish”, the only sibling that survived the first film. Their source also revealed that the Creeper’s truck, the one sporting a “BEATNGU” license plate, will be playing an important role in Jeepers Creepers 3, which begins filming next month in Vancouver, Canada.
The team behind the original two films will be back for the film, along with disgraced writer-director Victor Salva. Two other cast members will be returning, Brandon Smith to play Sergeant Tubbs and the Creeper will once again be played by Jonathan Breck.
Jeepers Creepers 3 will show the events of the last day of the Creeper’s twenty-three day feeding cycle. Sergent Tubbs teams up with a task force hellbent on ending the Creeper’s reign of terror for good, but the Creeper won’t go down with out a fight, in the process his dark origins will be revealed.
Francis Ford Coppola’s company American Zoetrope will co-produce the film, they also produced the first two. Kirk Shaw and Surai Gohill’s Odyssey Media and Stan Spry’s The Cartel will co-produce along with American Zoetrope. Myriad’s Kirk D’Amico will serve as executive producer for Jeepers Creepers 3.
