From director Johannes Roberts’ (interview) comes 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, the sequel to his 2017 hit shark film 47 Meters Down. Starring John Corbett, Nia Long, Sophie Nelisse, Corinne Foxx, Sistine Stallone, Brianne Tju, Davi Santos, Khylin Rhambo, and Brec Bassinger, the film follows the story of four girls diving in a ruined underwater city, who quickly find themselves in a watery hell as their fun outing turns into heart-stopping fear when they learn they are not alone in the submerged caves. As they swim deeper into the claustrophobic labyrinth of caves they enter the territory of the deadliest shark species in the ocean. 47 Meters Down: Uncaged swims into theaters nationwide on August 16th, 2019.

The highly anticipated shark film 47 Meters Down, from director Johannes Roberts (The Other Side of the Door) who co-wrote the script with Ernest Riera, is swimming toward its home video release this September. Mandy Moore and Clair Holt star as sisters in this shark thriller. Yani Gellman (Pretty Little Liars) and Matthew Modine (Stranger Things) co-star. 47 Meters Down “dives into a world of two sisters (Mandy Moore and Claire Holt) who become trapped at the bottom of the ocean when a diving expedition to observe sharks goes horribly wrong.
