The Predator Begins Filming – A First Look At The Cast

At some point people thought it would be a good idea to start making horror films that are PG-13. What a horrible idea that is. One upcoming film that won’t be PG-13 is Shane Black’s ‘The Predator’. In fact, he recently said that “PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.” ‘The Predator’ will be rater R ! And for that, we thank you Mr. Black. Let’s be honest, part of the genre’s charm is the blood, guts, and lots of other horrifying things. Parents know when their children shouldn’t watch something, it’s common sense. There’s no need to ruin a movie for the rest of us. Luckily, ‘The Predator’ will be filled with violence and gore, just the way we like it. Last we heard Thomas Jane was in final negotiations to star alongside Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, and Boyd Holbrook. Two New Cast Members Will Hunt ‘The Predator’

Shane Black’s ‘The Predator’ will begin filming this winter. With an already impressive cast, the announcement has come that two new names have been added to have been added to the roster for the long-awaited sequel. ‘Westworld’ actor Trevante Rhodes officially joined the cast a few days ago and will co-star as an ex-Marine on a mission to kill the Predator(s). News has arrived that funny man Keegan-Michael Key has signed on to play the role of a man who helps Rhodes and Boyd Holbrook’s characters fight the Predators (Yes, Predators, as in more than one). Key is most well known for co-creating Comedy Central’s ‘Key and Peele’ co-starring Jordan Peele, who recently made his directorial debut with ‘Get Out‘. Hollywood A-Lister Benicio Del Toro is currently in talks to play a role in ‘The Predator’, which one is still unknown. Del Toro has long history of great roles and a lot of talent. New Update On Shane Black’s The Predator

We finally have a new update on Shane Black‘s ‘The Predator’, which is the fourth film in the ‘Predator’ franchise, if you don’t count the two ‘AVP’ films. Last we heard, Benicio del Toro had stepped away from the project due to scheduling issues. Now, ‘Narcos’ actor Boyd Holbrook has stepped in to del Toro’s place, but that is not the only casting news. Reportedly, James Franco is eyeing the lead role of “Quinn McKenna”. 50 Cent is said to have also joined the cast. Black told JoBlo that ‘The Predator’ is more of a sequel than a reboot. “…has to stand on its own two feet, but our goal is to make sure it acknowledges that, yeah, it is 30 years later in the continuity of the story. 50 Cent To Fight The Predator

Director Shane Black’s Predator sequel is picking up speed and has begun the casting process. We reported back in early March that Arnold Schwarzenegger was in talks to appear in the new film, but he’s not the only celebrity that has now entered negotiations. During a radio interview with 99Jamz UnCensored rapper-actor-entrepreneur 50 Cent let it slip the he’s currently in talks with Black to star in Predator. “I’m working on some new projects. You ever heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer.” Image: swaggamusic.net “Fiddy” (Curtis Jackson) already has an impressive list of roles under his belt. He’s appeared in many films including the boxing drama Southpaw, the comedy Spy, the action film Escape Plan, Get Rich or Die Trying and many more. He’s also a writer and producer. Of course, he’s most well known his music career. Black will be directing off of the script he co-wrote with Fred Dekker.
