New Trailer Is Found For The True Story Inspired Horror ‘The Widow’

Scream Factory’s soon to be released found-footage horror The Widow gives off a serious Blair Witch (2016) vibe in its new trailer. The true story-inspired film is set “in a densely forested area north of St. Petersburg, people have been going missing for three decades. Very few corpses were ever found, and the few that were recovered were naked. On October 14, 2017, a team of volunteers went out into the woods in search of a missing teenager. Soon, all communication with them was lost. Locals believe they were taken by the same dark spirit that took the others … they call it the Limping Widow. Based on true accounts from the region, this gripping film is a white-knuckle ride from beginning to end!” Directed by Svyatoslav Podgaevsky (Baba Yaga: Terror of the Dark Forest), this horrifying tale was written by Ivan Minin, Ivan Kapitonov, Natalia Dubovaia, and Svyatoslav Podgaevsky. The Widow lands on VOD and Digital, as well as

Witness The Bone-Chilling Trailer For ‘Sator,’ Inspired By True Events

Witness the bone-chilling trailer for director Jordan Graham’s supernatural horror Sator, inspired by his own life experiences. “Secluded home in desolate forest home to little more than the decaying remnants of the past, a broken family is further torn apart by a mysterious death. Adam, guided by a pervasive sense of dread, hunts for answers only to learn that they are not alone; an insidious presence by the name of Sator has been observing his family, subtly influencing all of them for years in an attempt to claim them.” The uniquely spectral horror-thriller blurs the line between fact and fiction as it’s core story, of a demon making contact with an intimate family, is inspired by director Jordan Graham’s own life. Sator is quite personal to me,” says Graham. “It delves into my family’s dark history with mental illness surrounding a supernatural entity, and uses home video footage to create an interwoven piece between documentary and fiction.” For years generations
