Finn Wolfhard Appears In First Image From ‘The Turning’

Talented young actor Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) stars in the paranormal thriller The Turning which has just entered production. Wolfhard will be playing the role of an orphan. In the first picture from the film, we see Wolfhard and co-star Brooklyn Prince. The adaption of The Turning of the Screw by Henry James is directed by Floria Sigismondi and centers on a caretaker who is hired to look after two orphaned children at their family’s isolated estate. Upon the caretaker’s arrival, the young woman finds that the children are not quite what they seem and that she might be losing them to evil spirits with a secret tie to their past. Mackenzie Davis and Niall Greig Fulton co-star in the film written by Chad and Carey Hayes. In the 1898 story that was originally printed in Collier’s Weekly, a young governess has been hired to look after and teach a young brother and sister who live in a sprawling gothic

Witness The Trailer For The Possession Thriller ‘The Crucifixion’ – Inspired By A True Story

Xavier Gens, the director behind ‘Frontier(s)’ is back with a new genre thriller, ‘The Crucifixion’, penned by Chad and Carey Hayes the duo who wrote ‘The Conjuring’. ‘The Crucifixion’ is inspired by true events and centers on a priest who “is jailed for the murder of a nun on whom he was performing an exorcism, an investigative journalist strives to determine whether he in fact murdered a mentally ill person, or if he lost the battle with a demonic presence.” Sophie Cookson, Corneliu Ulici, Brittany Ashworth, Matthew Zajac, Florian Voicu, and Radu Bânzaru star in this intense possession thriller. The thriller premiered at last year’s Sreamfest in L.A., but has yet to see release here in the U.S. An international trailer has been released. We are still waiting to learn the exact release date, but IMDB does have it listed as coming in 2017. Bloody-Disgusting has also reported that the film will be out “sooner rather than later”.
