2019’s series “Carnival Row” was absolutely fantastic and the fact that a second season was never made still irks me to this day. But, I do have good news for my fellow fans, the unique world of “Carnival Row” will soon return, not as a new season, but as a new graphic novel series, Tales of Carnival Row, from Legendary Comics that will feature original stories from the hit show from Legendary Comics and Amazon Video. “In the dark and magical world of Carnival Row, there are many stories to be told. Readers can explore the Burgue, where war-weary humans and Fae strike an uneasy peace and eke out a meager coexistence in this new anthology graphic novel. Fans can take a closer look at the myths and half-truths surrounding their favorite characters, including Philo, Vignette, Millworthy, Agreus, Tourmaline, and Aisling.” Writer George Mann (Wychwood, the Newbury & Hobbes series) and series writers C.M. There are so many fantastic things about Amazon’s “Carnival Row,” the story, the cast, the cinematography, and the soundtrack that lends so much drama to the series. Now, the soundtrack can be yours. Amazon Studios and Legendary Television have announced the release of Carnival Row (Original Soundtrack) featuring a score by Emmy Award nominee Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Americans, The House with a Clock in its Walls) and two original songs by German musician Patty Gurdy. The soundtrack featuring music from Season One of the hit neo-Victorian fantasy television series is now available in digital stores and on streaming platforms. In anticipation of the premiere of the neo-Victorian fantasy television series “Carnival Row”, Legendary Comics has announced From the Dark and Sparrowhawk, two prequel one-shot comic book companions available today on comiXology, Amazon’s premier digital comics service. The two issues introduce readers to the show’s two main characters: the war-hardened investigator Rycroft Philostrate played by Orlando Bloom and faerie refugee Vignette Stonemoss Cara Delevingne, allowing readers to get a sneak peek into the histories of both protagonists prior to the launch of the highly-anticipated television series. Both issues are free to enjoy for the first week and $0.99 after September 4. Cara Delevingne has signed on to co-star alongside Orlando Bloom in Amazon’s upcoming series ‘Carnival Row’, Variety reports. Set in a city where mythical creatures are fleeing their war-torn homeland to a new land. Tensions are rising between the residents and the ever growing immigrant population. The series will follow investigations into a string of unsolved murders which are causing the tensions to worsen. Known for her roles in films like Suicide Squad, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Paper Towns, and Anna Karenina, Delevingne has been cast as Vignette Stonemoss, a faerish refugee who is fleeing her homeland.

Orlando Bloom Heading To Amazon’s ‘Carnival Row’

Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom will be starring in Amazon’s upcoming 8-episode fantasy-noir series ‘Carnival Row’. The Wrap is reporting that the series is set in a city where mythical creatures are fleeing their war-torn homeland to a new land, but tensions are rising between the residents and the ever growing immigrant population. The series will follow investigations into a string of unsolved murders which are causing the tensions to worsen. Bloom has been cast as police inspector Rycroft Philostrate who is leading the investigation into the murder of a faerie showgirl. He will also produce the series from writer, showrunner, and executive producer Rene Echevarria. Paul McGuigan will also executive produce, as well as direct. The third executive producer, Travis Beacham penned the original script. ‘Carnival Row’ is set to begin filming this fall and will premiere in 2019.
