Horror Comedy Magic H8 Ball Premieres This Halloween On Revry

Revry’s horror-comedy Magic H8 Ball is set to premiere this Halloween on the LGBTQ+ streaming service. In the vein of Little Shop of Horrors, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and other supernatural unconventional films, Magic H8 Ball sees a spurned lover come under the influence of an evil Magic 8 Ball. Burned by a cheating boyfriend (and some mild chlamydia) Adam, a heartbroken pushover turns to a mysterious Magic 8 Ball for the answers. But as he starts giving in to his impulses, he risks his hurt turning into hate and losing all control. This short horror-comedy is directed by Dan Hass and stars Nathan Mohebbi (Adam), Chris Boudreaux, (Mark), Matthew Bridges (Gary), Michelle Bernard (Mom), Robin Thorsen (Doctor), Mayank Bhatter (Clerk), David Danipour (Thief), Laura Hartley (Scientologist), and Kristofer Eric (Chase). ‘King Knight’ Conjures A New Trailer Ahead Of Fantasia Premiere

Killer Jeans Are On The Loose In ‘SLAXX’ – Coming To Blu-ray And DVD

RLJE Films has acquired the horror film, SLAXX from Shudder and has set to release it next month on home video. Directed by Elza Kephart (Go in the Wilderness, Graveyard Alive) who co-wrote the film with Patricia Gomez Zlatar (Graveyard Alive), SLAXX stars Romane Denis (Slut in a Good Way), Brett Donahue (“Private Eyes,” “Bad Blood”), Sehar Bhojani (“The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Seth and Ethnicity”), and Stephen Bogaert (American Psycho, It). RLJE Films will release SLAXX on DVD for an SRP of $27.97. In SLAXX, a possessed pair of jeans is brought to life to punish the unscrupulous practices of a trendy clothing company. Filmmakers Set Out To Locate A Killer In The New Clips From ‘Faking A Murderer’

This August two filmmakers set out to find a killer in an attempt to make a hit true-crime film in Faking a Murder, directed by Stuart Stone (The Haunted House of Kirby Road, Scarecrows). Faking a Murderer follows two filmmakers on their noble yet perhaps misguided quest to track down a seedy-looking stranger they’ve discovered online who — in a disturbing video — seemingly confesses to a murder. Or at least that’s what they think. Seeing the popularity of true crime shows, they decide to try and turn this discovery into their own killer hit. With the support (both moral and financial) of a distributor, Stuart Stone and Adam Rodness set off on their journey to try and track down this elusive creep. When they bring the video to law enforcement, they’re told — repeatedly — that it’s really not much to go on, and they’re putting a lot of time and energy into what essentially is a fool’s errand.
