The Haunting WWII Set Horror ‘Ghosts Of War’ Debuts On Netflix

One of our favorite films of the year, the haunting World War II set horror Ghosts of War, is now streaming on Netflix! Written and directed by Final Destination‘s Eric Bress, the film follows five battle-hardened American soldiers are assigned to hold a French Chateau near the end of World War II. Formerly occupied by the Nazi high command, this unexpected respite quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy far more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield. Brenton Thwaites, Alan Ritchson, Skylar Astin, Theo Rossi, Kyle Gallner, Billy Zane, and Shaun Toub star in Ghosts of War which we gave a 5 out of 5 score in our review. Eric Bress walked us through the film’s creation and filming during our interview as well as what it took to make it and his hopes that it will bring attention to issues that veterans deal with on a daily basis. Final Destination’s Eric Bress Talks About New Film ‘Ghosts of War’

I’ve long been a fan of the Final Destination franchise, so when I heard that writer/director Eric Bress (Final Destination 2, The Final Destination) had a new movie coming out I was curious, then I saw the trailer for Ghosts of War and I was completely obsessed with getting a copy to review. You’ll be able to read my review now, but let’s just say I loved it! So when I got the chance to interview Bress I was beyond excited, I mean the man helped create one of the best horror franchises ever. Ghosts of War centers on five American soldiers assigned to hold a French mansion serving as an outpost near the end of World War II. Formerly occupied by the Nazi high command, the lives of the soldiers quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy far more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield. Horror Fuel: “I love your movie. In fact, I’ve already

Movie Review: Ghosts Of War (2020)

The moment I saw the trailer for writer-director Eric Bress’ Ghosts of War I knew that I HAD to see it. Not only is it a horror movie, but it’s also a war movie, two things I’m a sucker for. Are you tired of the same old overly hyped horror movie that promises to be “one of the best movies of the year” only to be a total let a down? Well, that’s not the case with Ghosts of War. It actually is that good. Ghosts of War opens with a haunting quote. This war will not end. With every mile my body and spirit break. Every jolt makes brittle my mind. Each step pulls me further from homeuntil I am the shell of the man that kissed my mother goodbye a forever ago. And I tense endlessly. Not knowing which will arrive first, the bullet that takes my life or my final chance for redemption. – Private First Class

Formerly occupied by the Nazi high command, this unexpected respite quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy far more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield. Written and directed by Eric Bress, the film stars Brenton Thwaites, Alan Ritchson, Skylar Astin, Theo Rossi, Kyle Gallner, Billy Zane, and Shaun Toub.
