A Family Fights To Survive A Cult In The New ‘Welcome To The Circle’ Trailer

Following his work on Disney’s nature documentaries Born in China, Growing Up Wild, and Penguins, David Fowler is making his directorial debut in the horror genre with Welcome to the Circle, and the first trailer has premiered. Heather Doerksen (Pacific Rim), Matthew MacCaull (Star Trek Beyond), and Taylor Dianne Robinson (Twilight: Breaking Dawn) star. In the film, “a young girl and her father fall prey to a secluded, madman-worshiping cult situated deep in the woods. Trapped in a maze of demented mind games and deadly supernatural rituals, their only chance of survival seems an impossible task.” Michael Khazen of High Deaf Productions produced alongside Andrew Francis and Jeff Renfroe with Sam Vincent executive producing. ‘Rattlesnake’ Strikes Netflix This Friday

When a single mother accepts the help of a mysterious woman after her daughter is bitten by a rattlesnake, she finds herself making an unthinkable deal to repay her debt in writer-director Zak Hilditch‘s (1922) aptly named Netflix film Rattlesnake. ‘Red Letter Day’ Comes Home This November

Following its World Premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival, Red Letter Day is in the mail and headed towards its Blu-ray release. Filming Begins On ‘Broadcast Signal Intrusion’ Starring Harry Shum Jr.

Queensbury Pictures announced today the filming has begun in Chicago on Jacob Gentry‘s sci-fi horror Broadcast Signal Intrusion. Willem Defoe Heads To Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Nightmare Alley’

The cast is filling out for Guillermo del Toro‘s adaptation of Nightmare Alley. The latest to join the cast is the brilliant actor and Oscar nominee Willem Defoe who will play the head barker at a traveling carnival, Variety reports. Defoe joins Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, and Rooney Mara. Set in a world of carnival hustlers and con men, the film tells the story of a mentalist (Cooper) who teams with a psychologist in order to swindle the rich. Things go south for the man when he’s out-hustled by a woman. The film is the second adaptation of William Lindsey Gresham’s novel of the same name. The first movie was made in 1947 and starred Tyrone Power. Defoe has been in a long line of fantastic films including The Lighthouse, Aquaman, Death Note, John Wick, The Boondock Saints, and more than 130 films and shows.
