The found footage supernatural film JeruZalem, both written and directed by Doron and Yoav Paz, arrives on RedBox April 26th. There are three gates to Hell. One in the desert…One in the ocean…And one in…Jeruzalem. On judgement Day, Hell shall inherit the Earth… The film centers on Rachel (Yael Grobglas) and Sarah (Danielle Jadelyn), two American women who board a plane and meet a charming young archaeologist named Kevin (Yon Tumarkin). He persuades the young women to travel with him to Jerusalem. Once they arrive at the hostel Rachel strikes up a romance with Omar (Tom Graziani) while Sarah and Kevin grow closer. Things suddenly take a turn for the worst when Kevin begins to think that something is happening, and he’s right, the biblical apocalypse has begun. In Jason Zada’s supernatural film The Forest, Sara, played by Natalie Dormer, travels to Japan to search for her sister, who has disappeared into the legendary “Suicide Forest”. With Aiden (Taylor Kinney) as her guide, they enter the forest with a man searching for those who have or are considering suicide. If I got a call that my sister was in the suicide forest I would be freaking out, not walking around void of any emotion. In fact I saw no emotional response until half way through the movie when things start happening to Sara herself. I found

Last night I finally got the chance to watch it. The film stars Jessica Alba, Thomas Jane (The Mist), Reid Scott (Veep), Lenny Jacobson (Jobs), Chet Grissom (The Crazies), David Sullivan (Argo) and Meegan Warner and Lily Rabe of American Horror Story. The film, directed by Phil Joanou, follows the lone survivor (Rabe) of a cult’s mass suicide. Thirty years later she returns to the scene with a documentary film crew to confront the trauma that scarred her for life. The group has no idea about the force they are about to face. Where to begin? Let’s start with the cinematography, it was fantastic. They did a fantastic job of capturing the the eeriness of the location and the filth and grit of the long abandoned homes and
