A Killer Stalks The Trailer For ‘Trick’ – Out On Blu-ray This December

This December RLJE Films will unleash director Patrick Lussier‘s (My Bloody Valentine, Drive Angry) horror-thriller Trick starring Omar Epps. On Halloween night in 2015, Patrick “Trick” Weaver massacred his classmates at a costume party. After being arrested, he managed to escape police custody, but not before being shot five times by Detective Mike Denver (Epps). Everyone believes Trick must be dead, but when a masked killer reappears the following Halloween, and every Halloween after that, they realize the nightmare is not over. With Trick wreaking havoc and killing innocent people in increasingly terrifying ways, Denver will stop at nothing to finish what he started and bring the carnage to an end. Ellen Adair (“Homeland”), Kristina Reyes (“Blindspot”), Jamie Kennedy (Scream franchise), and Tom Atkins (Escape From New York) also star in the film co-written by Lussier and Todd Farmer (My Bloody Valentine, Jason X). RLJE Films will release Trick on DVD (SRP of $27.97) and Blu-ray (SRP of $28.97) on

Burt Gummer Is Locked And Loaded For Tremors 7

Great news Tremors fans, Universal has now officially given the go-ahead for the next installment of the franchise. Franchise star Michael Gross confirmed he is returning to reprise his role as survivalist and gun nut Burt Gummer. Tremors fans will be delighted to know I have just agreed to the terms of a contract for a SEVENTH film. My best estimate is that Burt Gummer will begin his hunt for Graboids and other nefarious forms of wildlife in the fall of 2019.” Gummer is the only character that has appeared in all seven films from the 1990 original movie to Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell which arrived on Blu-ray and DVD earlier this year. In the movie Burt and Travis head to the Arctic after getting a call that Ass Blasters have been spotted at a research facility. Gross took us inside the mind of Gummer and teased what we might see in Tremors 7 during our interview. Be

Michael Gross Talks ‘Tremors: A Cold Day In Hell’ & Teases A Sequel In Our Interview

Back in 1990, when Tremors premiered, if you told me that one day I’d be interviewing Michael Gross, I would have told you that you were nuts. But this weekend, it became a reality and I’ll be honest, I had a bit of a fangirl moment. Mr. Gross and I discussed the latest film of the franchise, Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell. He shined a new light on the hard as nails character, Graboid slaying Burt Gummer, what drives him, and he talked about Gummer’s relationship with his son Travis (Jamie Kennedy). He also teased the next sequel which will be number 7 for the franchise. Horror Fuel: “What drives Burt Gummer?” Michael Gross: “Well, I think the joy of the hunt. I think he’s a man who needs a purpose. Without a purpose, he’s a bit of a lost individual. You can only sit around your basement and sort your socks and ammunition and your Meals Ready to

Movie Review: Tremors: A Cold Day In Hell

Burt Gummer to the rescue! It’s been 28 years since we were first introduced to Graboids, the giant subterranean creatures that plagued the isolated town of Perfection. Now, the sixth film of the franchise, Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell is headed to Blu-ray and DVD this May. I’ll be real honest with you, A Cold Day in Hell, in my opinion, is the best of the franchise since the original. At the beginning of the movie, we find Graboid slayer Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) wasting away and mad as hell at tax collectors in Perfection when his son Travis (Jamie Kennedy) returns from a long trip. As soon as Burt goes to take a nap he begins to have what appear to be a combo of nightmares and flashbacks. Just as he rolls out of his hammock, Travis brings news that a team of scientist needs Burt’s expertise. Burt is surprised to learn that the scientists believe there are

Burt Gummer Gives A Recap Ahead Of ‘Tremors: A Cold Day In Hell’ Release

Over the past 30 years, the Tremors franchise has withstood the test of time as well as an array of beasts, including Graboids, Shriekers, and Assblasters. Now, we will witness a new chapter in their evolution. In Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, “Burt Gummer (Gross) and his son Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) find themselves up to their ears in Graboids and Ass-Blasters when they head to Canada to investigate a series of deadly giant-worm attacks. Arriving at a remote research facility in the arctic tundra, Burt begins to suspect that Graboids are secretly being weaponized, but before he can prove his theory, he is sidelined by Graboid venom. With just 48 hours to live, the only hope is to create an antidote from fresh venom — but to do that, someone will have to figure out how to milk a Graboid!” Tanya van Graan, Greg Kriek, Jay Anstey, Jenna Upton, Jamie-Lee Money, Christie Peruso, Stephanie Schildknecht, Alistar Moulton Black,

Dig These New Details From Tremors 6

One of my favorite things about the Tremors franchise is that the graboids are an ever evolving creatures. From the original Graboids to Shriekers all the way to Ass-blasters. Tremors 6 will be continuing that evolution. Director Don Michael Paul recently revealed a few hints on Facebook, including that fans might “get an icy glimpse of a Dirt Devil as you’ve never seen it before!!!!” We have also learned that the Graboids will be modified, but who is behind it?
