Back last year we reported that the long-awaited sequel ‘Jeepers Creepers 3’ was finally on its way, but the film stalled thanks to problems caused by writer-director Victor Salva’s dark past. Today, we have good news for fans of the franchise. ‘Jeepers Creepers 3’ has now entered pre-production and is set to begin next month in Louisiana instead of Vancouver, Canada like originally planned. Gina Phillips will be returning to her role as Trish, who lost her brother Darry (Justin Long) to the Creeper in the original 2oo1 film. Bloody-Disgusting in reporting that the casting site MEW is listing an new, interesting synopsis for the film that will tie all three movies together. Trish Jenner is now a mother of a teenage son named Darry, named after the brother she lost 23 years ago. Trish has a recurring nightmare where her son suffers the same fate as her brother did, killed by the Creeper. Determined to prevent this from happening,

Last week we reported that Jeepers Creepers was entering production. Before filming could even begin in British Columbia, the film has already hit a snag. Deadline is reporting that Jeepers Creepers’ writer/director Victor Salva’s troubled past has come back to haunt him. Salva posted a casting notice on Breakdown Service for the film, which starts shooting next month. But when the Union of British Columbia Performers learned of the notice, they sent out an alert to talent agencies warning them of Salva’s sex offender status. Breakdown Service quickly removed the posting from their site. “It has come to our attention that a casting breakdown has gone out for a feature film titled Jeepers Creepers III,” The Union of British Columbia Performs continued. ” and that the director of the film, Victor Salva, was convicted of sexual misconduct in 1988. The conviction allegedly resulted from misconduct involving a minor whom Mr. Salva was directing at the time. At this time we
