Home Entertainment and Uncork’d Entertainment have acquired the worldwide rights to psychological thriller ‘The Ice Cream Truck’ from writer-director Megan Freels Johnston. The film centers on a woman who moves back to her hometown and senses that something is very off about the driver of the Ice Cream truck that roams her neighborhood. The Rocker/writer/directer has just released the first clip from the film, which you can watch below. 31 follows a group of five carnival workers, kidnapped just before Halloween. We have been closely following Rob Zombie’s upcoming horror film 31. After what seems like a very long wait, we can finally say that 31 has theatrical release date! Sablan Films has acquired the North American distribution rights to 31, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. They will be giving Zombie’s film a limited theatrical release on September 16, of this year, according to Deadline. 31 follows a group of five carnival workers, kidnapped just before Halloween. Rob Zombie’s 31 May Not Be Able To Be Shown In Theaters

Rob Zombie’s highly-anticipated film 31 will soon premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival in January, followed by release on DVD later in the year. Part of the prep to get the film ready for theatrical release is for it to get its rating from the Motion Pictures Association of America. Two cuts were given for ranking. It’s not that surprising that because of its content, both versions scored a NC-17 rating. This means that unless some of the more controversial scenes are edited or cut, 31 will not be able to be shown in theaters. Zombie posted this comment on Facebook about the ranking: According to the MPAA, 31 contains “sadistic graphic violence, bizarre sexuality/nudity, pervasive disturbing images and some strong language.” Of course it does, it’s a Rob Zombie film.
