Kevin Smith Shares The Bloody Trailer For Anthology “Killroy Was Here”

Red State and Tusk director Kevin Smith is making his return to horror with the new anthology film Killroy Was Here. Killroy Was Here began as a Krampus movie but was re-written and morphed into a horror-comedy anthology inspired by the “Killroy Was Here” graffiti that popped up during World War II. During the ComicCon @ Home panel, Smith shared the first trailer (below) and compared the film to Creepshow and V/H/S. Smith also stated, “It’s got a theme that runs through it, and all these little stories that happen around [Killroy]. He’s kinda like a kid Avenger. If you fuck with kids, Killroy will show up. And he looks wonderfully goofy. Baldhead and a nose that hangs over the fence. [Robert Kurtzman] designed something that’s kinda horrifying but it’s also goofy at the same time.” Smith’s fellow Jay and Silent Bob star and long time friend Jason Mewes stars alongside Chris Jericho. Ryan O’Nan, Azita Ghanizada, Betty Aberlin, Gregory

Writer-director Joko Anwar’s hit horror film Impetigore (aka Perempuan Tanah Jahanam) is set to premiere on Shudder later this month. In the film, Maya with her best friend, Dini, tries to survive in a city without a family. She realized that she might inherit property from her rich family. Maya returns to the village with Dini and unaware of the danger was waiting for her. Joko Anwar is a master of modern horror, and Satan’s Slaves is one of the most loved — and scariest — movies on Shudder. We couldn’t wait to work with him again and are thrilled to share his scary, visceral and darkly sinister Impetigore with Shudder members,” said Craig Engler, Shudder’s General Manager. Impetigore is my love letter to horror movies I grew up with, slashers, ghost stories, wrapped in a tragic family drama not unlike my family. I’m excited to be working again with Shudder to bring Impetigore to their members around the world,”
