Edgar Friendly Jr. aka Bonejangles is ion the loose and a small tow police force has dispatched all units in an attempt to bring him in. After a brief fracas and the expenditure of nearly all of the towns police force, a few surviving officers manage to subdue the murderous juggernaut. Now these few remaining police officers must transport Bonejangles to a drop-off point where another contingent of police will meet them to pick up and transport the captive killer on the second leg of the journey to an asylum. The meeting point for this joint prisoner transport effort just happens to be in a sleepy little rural town called Argento – a town that one of the officers knows very well. In fact this officer’s ex-girlfriend is due to be married to the town’s rather rednecky hero, right around the time of Bonejangles’ handoff. In this digital age, the way in which people meet up and date has changed drastically. While some rely on more traditional ways of meeting people, others are relying on various online sites and apps. One such person is Mike, who is about to meet a young lad, whom he met by way of dating app. However, this is not a new experience for him, and the readers of his popular blog can bear witness to this fact. It’s likely that his dates are often the subject of his blog, and it’s just as likely he would rather these women not be aware of this before they meet him. Enter Abby, the young woman he’s meeting for coffee. They introduce themselves and after a bit hug vs handshake awkwardness they start the whole getting to know you process. She seems kind of timid, admittedly not getting out much. They share pleasant conversation and seem to be getting along swimmingly until

A young woman sits in her apartment watching a movie when the doorbell rings. She answers it and finds a slightly damaged package lying in the doorway. Upon opening the package she finds a creepy clown marionette stuffed inside. It’s holding a note that looks like it was written by a child just learning to write. The note says “My name is KAL”. She closes up the box and goes back to her movie, but she will find that her “little guest” will not be ignored. Soon enough she may learn exactly what fuels people’s Pupaphobia and Coulrophobia (that’s the fear of puppets and clowns to you and me Rusty). The film was directed by Carlos Omar de León from a script he co-wrote with Vince Phrommany. Their story combines two elements that have been used to play on people’s fears for many a year – clowns and puppets/dolls. This particular puppet even bears a resemblance to the kind of
