First Look At Xbox Series X Exclusive ‘Scorn’

Ebb Software released the trailer for their upcoming first-person horror game Scorn that will be coming exclusively to the new Xbox Series X console. Players will be taken into a twisted nightmarish world, which looks to be heavily influenced by the works of H.R. Giger, as they play as an unnamed character that is traversing a nightmarish world facing its horrors alone as each new area has unique puzzles, characters, and weaponry that can be unlocked as the player advances in the story. Scorn’s game director Ljubomir Peklar had this to say about Ebb Software’s collaboration with Microsoft: For us as developers it’s imperative to present Scorn in the best way possible. The distinctive art style is only half the story – the other half is having all the technical parts of the game running smoothly. That’s where our partnership with Microsoft and their next generation Xbox Series X console comes in. Xbox Series X is an extremely capable piece

Making The Streets Run Red: Review Of ‘Vampyr’

DontNod and Focus Home Interactive gave me the opportunity to play their horror game, “Vampyr”. The game is about Dr. Jonathan Reid, a prominent surgeon who specializes in blood transfusions who recently has become a vampire. Reid is back home in London after the Great War and the Spanish flu epidemic has started to spread and vampires are joining in on the killing. The game is in third-person giving you the chance to see around your environment perfectly. As you explore London, you are able to use a vampire vision mechanic that allows you to see blood trails that lead you to find clues as well as little rat morsels you can eat! You can find hideouts where you can upgrade Reid’s weapons as well as his perks. The points you can use are where the main point of the game comes in, you can earn points by talking to people, investigations etc, but if you want a lot of

‘Call Of Cthulhu’ Game: Understanding The Madness

Sometime in 2018, the most anticipated pole playing horror game will bring new cosmic horrors to gamers everywhere, “The Call Of Cthulhu”. The game, from Cyanide Studio, is an adaptation of the RPG boardgame based on the famed short story written by H.P. Lovecraft in 1926 before being published in 1928. Players will take on the role of a private investigator named Edward Pierce as he investigates the mysterious death of an artist named Sarah Hawkins on the mysterious island of Darkwater. As Pierce, players can recruit others to help him investigate different cases on the island in an open-world setting, all the while facing your own sanity as madness slowly grips you. Many fans of Lovecraft’s works pretty much know the background of this tale that’s taking place in the same universe as the original short story but there’s also a strong possibility that some may not be aware of the lore that will be seen in it, to
