Ice Nine Kills Drops Parody Song In Honor Of ‘Friday The 13th’ & Mother’s Day

With isolation and quarantine taking place around the world people are getting creative and hosting live-stream events. During the #FearlessAtHome event yesterday the horror-themed theatercore group Ice Nine Kills celebrated the 40th anniversary of the genre classic Friday the 13th with the debut of their song “Jason’s Mom“, a parody of “Stacey’s Mom”, just in time to celebrate one of the deadliest moms on film for Mother’s Day. The band dedicated the performance to Adam Schlesinger who wrote the song “Stacey’s Mom.” Speaking on their re-imagining of the “Fountains of Wayne” classic track and the 40th Anniversary of Friday The 13th, INK frontman, Spencer Charnas says: Today marks the 40th anniversary of Friday The 13th and with tomorrow being Mother’s Day, we thought this acoustic cover would be the perfect way to celebrate. We want to dedicate this to the memory of the inspirational songwriter Adam Schlesinger, who co-wrote this amazing and enduring pop song for Fountains Of Wayne. We

Celebrate Mother’s Day With “Into The Dark: Delivered”

This May we will all be celebrating the women who brought us into this world. “Into the Dark” will be too, with “Delivered” and we’ve got the new trailer! This installment of the hit horror series, “a pregnant woman’s life is upended when she realizes someone close to her has darker plans for her and the baby.” “Delivered” is directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind) and stars Tina Majorino (“Napoleon Dynamite”), Natalie Paul (“The Sinner”), Michael Cassidy (“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”), and Micah Parker (“Wait”). The year-round series from Hulu and Blumhouse Television, “Into The Dark,” is a monthly horror event series from the prolific, award-winning producer, Jason Blum’s independent TV studio. Each feature-length installment is inspired by a holiday and features Blumhouse’s signature genre/thriller spin on the story.
