Gravitas Ventures, a Red Arrow Studios company, is set to release the award-winning horror Nefarious, a home invasion horror-thriller featuring a robbery gone horribly wrong. Starring Toby Wynn-Davies (Escape From Cannibal Farm), Nadia Lamin (Hosts) and newcomer Buck Braithwaite, the indie horror was directed by Richard Rowntree from a script he co-wrote with Matthew Davies (Dogged). Ash Mountain Films, the makers of 2018’s hit indie folk horror Dogged have released the trailer for their new home invasion horror-thriller, Nefarious. Directed by Richard Rowntree and starring Toby Wynn-Davies (Dogged, Escape from Cannibal Farm), Nadia Lamin (Dogged, Hosts) and newcomer Buck Braithwaite, Nefarious marks the second full-length feature film from the company, and promises a very different ride from their previous film. In the film, “Darren, Lou, Jo, and Mas live a meager existence on the fringes of poverty. Indebted to the criminal kingpin of their social housing development, they routinely fear for their lives. On the other side of town, the already wealthy Marcus and his handicapped brother Clive receive a windfall in the form of a winning lottery ticket. When their worlds collide following a botched robbery, the would-be criminals get more than they bargained for, and will be tested to their limits in a desperate attempt to survive a predator of monstrous proportions.” Shot over
