Join ON SET CINEMA on Saturday, September 19th for a very special screening of the original Pet Sematary at the actual Pet Sematary filming location in Ellsworth, Maine! Terror Films Unleashes 22 Films On Steam!

As part of their continuing support of indie horror films throughout the world, Terror Films has released 22 films from their library onto the popular gamer site Steam. Steam, the largest digital distribution platform for PC gaming, has begun to make films available on their service, including films from Lionsgate who has added more than 100 films to Steam‘s library in 2016. While Terror Films is still building their reputation as a major film distributor, company president Joe Dain believes that the release is very special and stated that “this was a calculated move on our part. There is a natural, connective tissue between gamers and horror, science fiction and fantasy film fans. We believe our films are interesting, entertaining and diverse enough to gain the attention of Steam’s massive user base. It was an easy decision on our part as we continue to expand onto new platforms and territories around the world.” As of early 2018, Steam had over

Pet Sematary Documentary ‘Unearthed & Untold’ Arrives On Digital HD

We have been following the development of John Campiano and Justin White’s horror documentary ‘Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary‘ for a while now. The Documentary features interviews with Director Mary Lambert and the entire cast; including Dale Midkiff, Denise Crosby, Miko Hughes, Brad Greenquist, Susan Blommaert, the Berdahl Twins and many more. The film also features never-before-seen footage from the sets in Maine, interviews with key crew, the town’s people and will be packed full of bonus features, including a fan appreciation sizzle reel, a personal interview with the documentary filmmakers and much, much more. When we first set out for Maine nearly six years ago we thought, at most, we would take some photographs of the filming locations from Stephen King’s Pet Sematary and post them to social media. But upon that very first visit we knew that we had stumbled upon something special — stories, people, and places that had been barely documented for the

The 13 Most Disturbing Kids In Horror

There are few things creepier in a horror film than children. To see someone meant to be sweet and innocent be twisted into a villain really gets under your skin. Typically, there are four types of children in horror films, The Witness, The Villain, The Victim and The Non-Victim A good example of “The Witness” are the Grady Twins, they are there to witness the horror but not actually threaten Danny in The Shining. There are a ton of examples of “Villain” characters in horror, including Damien and Esther. Children who play “The Villain” frequently appear as normal at first then turn dark, like Esther. A lot of the time we see them use their appearance to get close to their victims. There are always casualties in horror films, it’s not often when you see a child fall victim in a movie, but it does happen. Regan and Toshio are good examples. In both cases, they were children who fell
