Jason Liles Talks Becoming George For ‘Rampage’ And More In An Interview

Jason Liles, the breakout star of Brad Peyton’s film adaptation of Rampage, was kind enough to answer a few of my questions. Liles and I talked about a few his previous roles in films like Netflix’s Death Note and The Conjuring 2. But it quickly became crystal clear that his role as George, the giant gorilla in Rampage, holds a special place in his heart. Liles stars in Rampage alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. ‘Rampage’ Arriving In Theaters On New Date

New Line Cinema’s video game to film adaptation of Rampage will be arriving one week earlier than previously announced. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in the film directed by Brad Peyton who he worked together with on San Andreas. Oscar nominee Naomie Harris (Moonlight), Malin Akerman (Billions), Jake Lacy (Girls), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Jeffrey Dean Morgan ( The Walking Dead), P.J. Byrne (Final Destination 5), Marley Shelton (Solace), Breanne Hill (San Andreas), Jack Quaid (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), and Matt Gerald (Daredevil) co-star. Synopsis And First Image Arrives For RAMPAGE

Production began today in Atlanta on New Line’s adaption of Midway’s video game, ‘Rampage’. Not only has the synopsis been released, the first photo from the set has been unleashed by star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson via his Instagram account. In our story we have three animals (gorilla, crocodile and a wolf) who fall victim to evil genetic editing, rapidly changing every strand of their DNA so they grow, evolve and mutate. Everything becomes amplified.. their size, strength, speed, agility.. and violent aggression. One of the animals infected – a rare Albino gorilla named, George, is my best friend. George, is played by 6’9 @tallie7487, (Jason Liles, pictured here). Jason has been studying gorillas for months now preparing for this motion capture role. Gorilla movements, body language, and all emotions – joy, pain, sadness, love, aggression etc. It’s insane when you get around this man and how he’s able to brilliantly embody a gorilla. Dwayne Johnson Gives Character Details For Adaption Of RAMPAGE

We first reported that a film adaption of the video game Rampage a while back, since we’ve told you that Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Malin Akerman, has joined that cast alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Naomi Harris, Joe Manganiello, Marley Shelton, Jake Lacey, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Matt Gerald, and Breanne Hill. Over the weekend, Johnson gave fans details about his character via his Instagram account, basically confirming the plot leaked online last week. I head up an anti poaching unit out of Rwanda. Walking Dead Actor Joins The Cast Of Rampage

The film adaption of the 1986 Midway video game Rampage already has an impressive cast that includes Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Naomi Harris, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Marley Shelton, Jake Lacey, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Matt Gerald, and Breanne Hill. Today, we have news (via Deadline) that the latest addition to the all-star lineup is none other than Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Morgan is set to play the role of Agent Russell, who works for the OGA, a covert government agency. The character is said to have serious swagger and an attitude to match. That sounds a lot like Negan, the sadistic character he currently plays on the mega hit series The Walking Dead. Brad Peyton (Incarnate, San Andreas) is in the director’s chair for the adaptation written by Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, and Adam Sztykiel.
