2020 has been a busy year of gaming and horror-themed games certainly were not in short supply! Going back through the games that were reviewed this year, I picked out games that stayed true to the genre of horror as well as a couple of games balanced on being considered horror or not but were still great games. So here’s the list of the top horror games reviewed, starting from the worst! The Suicide of Rachael Foster With an intriguing title that is more of a place card for what the game should really be called, “Firewatch copycat”, the game tries to scare but fails to do so with a story that needed a longer game in order to tell it fully but instead kept it short and garbled making it the worst game reviewed on Horror Fuel in 2020. Maid of Sker A visually beautiful game that has as many ups and downs as a fairground roller coaster. With

Darril Arts and Modus Games did it again and hooked me up with a copy of the sequel to Remothered: Tormented Fathers (you can see my review for it HERE) how does it compare with the first? Well let’s check our bags at the front desk of the Ashmann Inn and rent a room for the night, let’s take a look at Remothered: Broken Porcelain. It should be noted first that if you have not played the first game, there are a lot of spoilers in this game as the main story takes place before the events of the first game and a side story takes place after the events of the first game. Remothered: Broken Porcelain follows Jenifer, a troubled teen who works as a housekeeper at the Ashmann Inn as a form of rehabilitation along with Lin, another rebellious youth. Jenifer realizes that things are not right at the inn as over the loudspeakers the sound of a

Modus announced today that the release date for the upcoming survival horror game Remothered: Broken Porcelain has been changed, and thankfully not in a bad way as most game releases are pushed back when this kind of announcement has been made. This time the news is that the game’s release has been moved up! This is an incredibly busy month for games, particularly horror games,” said Shane Bierwith, EVP of global marketing at Modus. “While moving dates forward isn’t common, we’d like to allow horror fans to get their hands on Broken Porcelain early so players can have more time to experience all the great games releasing around Halloween.” Remotherd: Broken Porcelain will be coming out on October 13th, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

In the new Gamescom “Whispers” trailer for Remothered: Broken Porcelain, fans are treated to something a bit different, someone actually finding happiness in the dark world of Remothered. It really should be no surprise that in the middle of everything that goes on, our heroine Jennifer and her friend and fellow housekeeper at the Ashmann Inn Lindsay (Lin) find shelter with each other in the dark halls of the Inn where danger lurks, a fact we’re sadly reminded in the middle of the happy couple’s moments… Remothered: Broken Porcelain will be coming October 20, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and STEAM.

Darril Arts, Stormind Games, and Modus Games announced today that their upcoming horror game Remothered: Broken Porcelain, the sequel to Remothered: Tormented Fathers, has been delayed from its original August release. Modus Games released a statement saying that the three companies have agreed to push the highly anticipated sequel from its August release, to October 20th. The reasons for the delay are to ensure that player experience at launch is flawless. The year is coming to a close and officially I have no more video games to review for the year! 2019 was a roller coaster of hits and misses when it came to gaming. There have been exciting announcements that are making gamers excited for the new year like the new Half-Life VR (my prediction is next there will be a Half-Life Mobile THEN we may see Half-Life 3), there’s been hyped up games like Death Stranding that disappointed and confused many and divided Kojima fans. Then there’s our little corner here in the world. I was fortunate enough to review quite a few games this year but it’s that time I have to look back at the ones that matter, the horror ones, and see which titles I’ve reviewed that after completion I would still keep their ratings the same, and which I would probably banish to the shadow realm! Here’s some behind the scenes info for you guys,
