Rob Zombie May Be Resurrecting The ‘Devil’s Rejects’

Back in 2005 director and horror rocker Rob Zombie followed up his 2003 horror spectacle, House of 1000 Corpses, with a brutal and murderous 70’s style road film called The Devil’s Rejects . Hats off to any franchise that lasts forty years and remains relevant. However, there are a number Cynema-like elements to this. While everyone gushes about what this means to horror, I am going to look at just what this means to horror. Fan Reaction Details trickled in not long after the initial euphoria. Would this new film ignore the events after Carpenter’s original ’78 film? The news of Judy Greer joining the new film as Laurie Strode’s daughter sent a new wave of concern among online nerd-dom.

Is Rob Zombie Planning A Devil’s Rejects Sequel ?

Today on Rob Zombie’s Instagram account he posed an interesting question in the caption under an image of The Devil’s Rejects poster, “Just curious would anyone be interested in watching another movie starring these three characters?” Of course many of 341,000 plus followers liked the post, with 3,321 comments screaming yes (in more words or less). Then again, it could simply mean that Zombie wants to reunite Sid Haig, Sheri Moon Zombie and Bill Moseley in another film. Either way, I’m sure fans of Zombie’s work and of the cast would be happy to see the trio together again, after all they did have great chemistry.
