“Once Upon A Nightmare” Crowdfunding Final Episodes Of First Season

A new series, “Once Upon a Nightmare” is headed your way from director and SFX master Joe Castro (Terror Tunes, Uncle Sam). Over the next eight months, the horror anthology series is poised to release thirteen episodes featuring monsters, ghosts, clowns, serial killers, and many other creatures and situations from your darkest nightmares. The goal is to, with your help, add twelve more episodes. “We want to put out 13 episodes over the next 12 months and once again notch up the quality to a level not yet seen from a horror web series. To do that, though, we need your help. We have already been hard at work at those upcoming episodes and 6 of them are currently in various stages of completion. We are seeking finishing funds to finish those episodes and begin producing the other 7.” The Indiegogo campaign has already begun and offers perks like posters, phone cases, early access, set visits, and more. ‘Capture Kill Release’ Takes A Stab At Digital HD This March – Based On A True Story

This March ‘Capture Kill Release’ lands on Digital HD from co-directors Nick McAnulty and Brian Allen Stewart. This found footage is a twist on the infamous real life story of “the Ken and Barbie killers”. In the film a young married couple documents their descent down the rabbit hole as they seek to fulfill one of their darkest desires: kill a stranger and film it for posterity. Strain and second thoughts pull at their devotion to each other as they carefully plot out a heinous crime for the sake of curiosity. While they may have carefully thought out every small step and detail of getting away with murder, nothing can prepare them with the guilt and the weight of moving on in the aftermath. Shot in a documentary style from the perspective of the couple’s camera, the film follows unflinching as they document their moral decay for the sake of “art”. From the Press Release: Los Angeles, CA – Midnight

It was for poor parents or single parents who were unable to raise their children. They would pay another couple to take the child so that there would be the possibility of a prosperous and happy life…John and Sarah Makin robbed the babies they farmed of both a prosperous life and life in general. These two monsters were a match made in Hell. John Makin was born on February 14, 1845 and Sarah was born August 15 of the same year. The couple were wed on August 27, 1871. Sarah had been married before and brought one child into the marriage and then had another daughter with John. John worked as a drayman (a driver of a low, flatbed wagon that transported various kinds of goods) and was injured which forced him to quit and the couple was
