John Carpenter Partners With Serial Box For Exclusive Audio Content

Legendary Master of Horror John Carpenter along with Sandy King Carpenter, writer, producer, and president of Storm King Production, announced today their partnership with the premium audio entertainment platform Serial Box for exclusive audio and podcast projects. Best known for such cult classics as Halloween, Dark Star, Christine, and The Thing, Carpenter will add audio to his storied career as a film producer, writer, director, actor, composer, and comics creator leveraging Serial Box’s experience creating addictive, immersive audio series. The collaboration will consist of audio stories developed by both companies, produced and recorded by Serial Box, that will live on Serial Box’s platform. New Streaming Service Combines Other Services For One Fee

I can’t count how many times I have wished that there was an app that connects all of my streaming services instead of having to hunt down something to watch service by service. And I’m guessing I’m not alone. Well, that may not be a problem for much longer. There’s a new streaming service headed our way that will do just that, plus save us some cash. The new service is called Struum and it will allow us to watch streaming shows and movies from various other streaming services without having to buy a subscription to each of them individually. The service hails from the Walt Disney Co. and Discovery Inc. Paul Pastor, the service’s co-founder, told The Wall Street Journal that Struum would also help shine a light on smaller-scale streaming services that have great content but that are less known. Arrow Video Announces December Lineup For Streaming Service

Arrow Video has just announced their December lineup of new releases on their streaming service that features cult classics, hidden gems, and iconic horror films. Beginning December 1st with the debut of The Bloodhound, a hauntingly atmospheric tale from first-time feature director Patrick Picard, starring Liam Aiken (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Joe Adler (The Maze Runner), and Annalise Basso (Ouija: Origin of Evil). The seasons kick off with Naughty or Nice, featuring tearaway teens and maniacal killers, the worst of Santa’s naughty list: The Violent Years, Bloody Birthday, Children of the Corn, The El Duce Tapes, Doom Asylum, and The Hooked Generation.
