‘Infernal Radiation’ Leaves Early Access For December Release

The debut game from Asmodev has left early access on Steam and will be fully released on December 28th. Their first game is a gothic dark-fantasy hardcore arcade-style game called Infernal Radiation. Mim, one of the game’s creators had this to say about the upcoming story: We wanted a story that would correspond with the gameplay. And we did it. Infernal Radiation is a chaotic ballad of love, betrayal and revenge. As always, everything we do in Asmodev is steeped in bloody romanticism” Infernal Radiation puts players in the shoes of an exorcist that’s stuck on Halloween Island where a power plant that harnesses the energy of hell to produce power has exploded and the radiation causes people to become possessed. Players will battle the possessed as well as demons and will face off against 20 demonic bosses. Players can go it alone or have a friend help in local co-op mode. Infernal Radiation will be coming to PC (Steam)

Game Review: ‘Chronos: Before The Ashes’

THQ Nordic gave me the opportunity to experience a truly unique and beautiful RPG that is Chronos: Before the Ashes. This game is a prequel to Remnant: From the Ashes. Chronos: Before the Ashes, takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where players play as a hero who is sent to a place known as the Labyrinth to put an end to an evil that comes from it. The gateway to this other world is only open once a year and if the player dies, they come back to the Labyrinth a year later, and older. Now onto the game itself! The controls are easy to learn and are pretty basic for an RPG involving the use of shields and weapons so fans of hack & slash games will most likely have fun with this, the option to turn on the tutorial is a great option too. The fighting has Dark Souls feel to it as blocks, parries, and dodges play

Game Review: ‘Visage’

SadSquare Studio was awesome enough to let me experience the long-awaited spiritual successor to P.T. that had fans of the playable teaser excited, I’m talking about Visage. I got the game on Halloween but unfortunately, I have had issues with it at first but I simply had to just start a new game and now everything seems to be working fine, let’s see the faces of death in Visage. Visage is about a man named Dwayne Anderson who is alone in his house, his family not present, and strange things start to occur in the house leading Dwayne to encounter hostile ghosts, and visions of past families that have lived in the house and met tragic ends. Now onto the game itself. The controls of Visage are very involved (for a controller) as you have to use different combinations of controller buttons to look at, pick up, switch hands, store, drop, items you encounter in the game. You have limited

Game Review: There’s Hope With ‘Little Hope’

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, and a massive thank you to Bandai Namco for sending me a copy of Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope the sequel to the hit game, Man of Medan. This third-person horror experience is pretty much an interactive movie where the choices you make will affect the characters in the story and will determine who lives and who dies. Little Hope follows four college students and their professor who while on a field trip got stranded after their bus got into an accident while being re-routed through the ghost town of Little Hope, once there, the group soon begin to notice that the past still haunts the town… Onto the game itself! The first thing I noticed right away is the animation of Little Hope is way better than Man of Medan as there was a lot of screen tearing and slow frame rate but it’s silky smooth this time around! On the subject of graphics, the art and

Well let’s check our bags at the front desk of the Ashmann Inn and rent a room for the night, let’s take a look at Remothered: Broken Porcelain. Remothered: Broken Porcelain follows Jenifer, a troubled teen who works as a housekeeper at the Ashmann Inn as a form of rehabilitation along with Lin, another rebellious youth. Jenifer realizes that things are not right at the inn as over the loudspeakers the sound of a

Game Review: ‘Pumpkin Jack’

Like most of you I’m getting impatient with all this waiting for Halloween, dammit they should rename October to just Halloween, but I digress. Since I have this itchy scab that’s Halloween that needs to be scratched, Headup Games came along and tore it off with Pumpkin Jack. Is the game worth having for this time of year? Let’s take a look. Pumpkin Jack takes place in a kingdom where peace is a fact of life, the devil found this boring and caused a curse that put the world into darkness and brought forth monsters to terrorize the people. The people called for a wizard to save them, so the devil called a champion to kill the wizard, Jack, a wandering spirit who had his soul put into a pumpkin. Jack sets out with an Owl and Crow companions to fight monsters and search for the Wizard. Now onto the game itself. When it comes to the game’s art, it’s
