On July 4th, Universal Studios Hollywood will open it’s doors to its new permanent The Walking Dead Attraction . Visitors will feel as if they have stepped right into the world of The Walking Dead, complete with walkers. To guarantee that visitors have an authentic Walking Dead experience, Universal Studios teamed up with the show’s executive producer and director Greg Nicotero, as well as the same effects company the show uses, Nicotero’s KNB EFX. Together they recreated the show’s walkers, both live versions and animatronics, along with props, iconic sets and the unique feel of The Walking Dead. The attraction won’t be hard to find, it is housed in a new custom built complex just inside the park’s main entrance. Do you want to see a little of what you can expect from the attraction? Are you a fan of The Walking Dead? Have you ever wanted to be a walker? Here’s your chance. Universal Studios Hollywood is preparing to open a new permanent attraction based on the hit series. Universal Studios is looking to hire 100 male and female actors for the attraction. On May 5th and 6th they will be holding auditions for walkers and survivors. If you are interested in trying out, you can find out more and register on the Universal Studios website. Universal is working with the creative team of The Walking Dead, including executive producer/director and special effects master Greg Nicotero and his company KNB Efx to bring an authentic Walking Dead feel to the attraction.
