First Image: Netflix Announces Horror ‘El Conde’ Has Begun Production

Netflix has now announced that El Conde has begun production. The Chilean horror is directed by Pablo Larraín (Spencer). The story centers on Augusto Pinochet who is a vampire. After 250 years in this world, he has grown tired and has decided to die once and for all. Jaime Vadell (Tres tristes Tigres, No) and Gloria Münchmeyer (La luna en el espejo) star as the central couple in the dark comedy. Trailer For Dracula-Inspired Horror ‘The Invitation’ To Play At Screenings Of ‘The Black Phone’

The first trailer for Sony’s upcoming Dracula-inspired horror movie The Invitation, originally titled The Bride, is playing at screenings of The Black Phone in theaters this weekend and will soon be released online. Jessica M. Thompson “(The Handmaid’s Tale”) is in the director’s chair for The Invitation, described as “a contemporary horror thriller” that, “tells the story of a young woman who is courted and swept off her feet, only to realize a gothic conspiracy is afoot.” Nathalie Emmanuel (“Game of Thrones”, pictured), Thomas Doherty (“Gossip Girl”), Hugh Skinner, Alana Boden, Sean Pertwee, Courtney Taylor, and Stephanie Corneliussen star.
