I have great news for the fans of the video game ‘The Last Of Us’, the highly ranked video game that was released last June, is being adapted into a live action movie.
Joel is a hardened smuggler, but when he is asked to get the fourteen year old daughter of a dying friend across the country to another quarantine zone, he agrees. The journey through the post pandemic America will change them both forever. Together they face groups of survivors, infected people and burden of fighting for survival.
Sony’s Screen Gems production company will be distributing the movie. ‘The Last Of Us’ movie already has several impressive names attached to the project. Neil Drunkmann, the creative director of Naughty Dog Entertainment, will be writing the movie’s script. Sam Raimi and Naughty Dog Entertainment’s co-presidents Christophe Balestra and Evan Wells will also be involved in ‘The Last Of Us’, though there is no word exactly what title they will have. At the moment, there is only one cast member listed, ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Maisie Williams, who has been cast as Elle.
