The follow up to Richard Bates Jr’s film ‘Excision’ titled ‘Suburban Gothic’ tells the story of Raymond, a well educated man, who can’t find a job. Raymond has a special ability, he can channel spirits. When Raymond is evicted from his apartment in the city, he forced to move back in with his dad and his overbearing mother. Raymond opens up a paranormal investigation business after a pep talk from Becca, the local badass bartender, and it’s just in time, as a vengeful spirit begins to terrorize his small town.
‘Suburban Gothic’ stars Kat Dennings from ‘2 Broke Girls’ and ‘Thor’, Ray Wise (The Lazarus Effect), Sally Kirkland (Devil’s Land), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator), John Waters (Excision) and ‘Criminal Minds’ actor Matthew Gray Gubler in the lead role of Raymond.
This horror-comedy is definitely a movie you have to see! It’s available now on digital platforms, but the DVD release date is still unlisted.
