Imagine taking a stroll down a street in London, when you come across a butcher shop, with human limbs and body parts hanging on hooks and wrapped in packages. It sounds like something out of a horror movie, but that’s exactly what you will see in a butcher shop that will soon open in the Smithfield Market district in London .
Before you get outraged, you should know, not everything is what it appears to be. The incredibly detailed body parts are actually sculpted pork, chicken and beef. The shop is a replica of the ‘Wesker an Son’ butcher shop from the ‘Resident Evil’ video game. Capcom refers to the shop as a “pop up human butchery and morgue”. The shop is open to public, but don’t worry, they won’t charge you an arm and a leg.
The shop is not just a publicity stunt. All of the proceeds from sales goes to The Limbless Association, an organization that helps support amputees.
