Warner Bros. has given the go ahead for a movie based on the creepy video game ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’. The game, which has three sequels, takes place at Chuck-E-Cheese type restaurant. After the restaurant closes at night, animatronic characters spring to life in a murderous rage. Players, who are locked inside, must find a way to survive the night.
Gil Kenan, the director of the ‘Poltergeist’ reboot, has been hired to direct the adaption, as well as co-write the movie, along with Tyler Burton Smith. Roy Lee is producing along side Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg.
‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ the movie, is in early production, but we should see it’s release sometime in 2016.
