The full length trailer for ‘Outcast’ has been released and reveals a glimpse at an intense, supernatural series. The show, based on the adaption of Kirkman’s graphic novel by the same name, will star Patrick Fugit as the main character Kyle Barnes, a young man in search of answers to why he has suffered from demonic possessions all of his life. During his quest to understand what happened to him, he comes in contact with others suffering from possession.
‘Outcast’ will be directed by Adam Wingard, the director of ‘You’re Next’, and Julius Ramsey, who directed several episodes of ‘The Walking Dead’. Robert Kirkman will be serving as a writer for the series, along with Chris Black and David Alpert.
The series will also stars Pete Burris (Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2), Lacy Camp (Red Band Society), Julia Crockett (The Absence), Philip Glenister (Demons) Melinda McGraw (Mad Men), David Denman (13 Hours), Grace Zabriskie (The Killing), Cathrine Dent (The Shield), Brent Spiner (Independence Day) and ‘The Americans’ actor Lee Tergesen.
Cinemax has ordered the first ten episodes of ‘Outcast’, which will premier on Cinemax in 2016.
