It’s a custom for families to build gingerbread houses during the holiday, but filmmakers Aaron and Austin Keeling took it a step further. They have recreated The Shining‘s Overlook Hotel and its grounds in an amazing four foot-long gingerbread house . The detail is amazing. The gingerbread house features multiple scenes from Stanley Kurbick’s 1980 film, based on Stephen King’s novel. The hotel is constructed out of gingerbread, icing, candy, fondant, lights, Rice Krispies and powdered sugar.
