Guillermo det Toro is preparing a new project, the film adaption of the youth book series Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark. The plot details are being kept hush, hush. Not only will del Toro be directing, he will also be producing along side Jason Brown, Sean Daniel and Elizabeth Grave.
The extremely popular book series, which began in 1984, was written by Alvin Schwatz. The film is likely to be frightening, after all the books were banned by most libraries after being deemed too scary for kids by the American Library Association.
I loved these books as a kid. I can’t wait to see del Toro’s adaption.
