The news that Fox would be hosting a reboot of The Rocky Horror Picture Show was met with mixed emotions from fans, but we have news that may change that. Tim Curry, the original Dr. Frank-N-Furter has joined the production! No, he won’t be wearing hills and a bustier, that will be left to Laverne Cox. Curry will be playing the role of the narrator, the criminalist.
The other roles have been filled by Victoria Justice as Janet Weiss and Ryan McCartan was cast as her fiancee Brad Majors. Staz Nair will play Frank-N-Furter’s boy toy Rocky. Penny Dreadful’s Reeve Carney will play Riff Raff the doctor’s faithful handy man. Eddie, once played by Meatloaf, will now be played by Adam Lambert. We are still waiting learn will co-star as Magenta and Columbia.

The two-hour special will air this fall. When I wrote the first article announcing the reboot I was less than thrilled, but damn it Janet, with Curry signing on I can’t help but feel differently about it.
