From the director of Wolf Creek, Greg McLean, comes the new supernatural thriller The Darkness, opening in theaters nationwide on May 13th, 2016.
A family, returning home from a vacation at the Grand Canyon, have brought home a souvenir not knowing that an ancient supernatural force follows it. The entity, attached to the boy, is praying on their fears and vulnerabilities, threatening to destroy the family and everything they hold most dear.
Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell, Lucy Fry, David Mazouz, Jennifer Morrison and Matt Walsh star in this intense film about family. McLean directed and co-wrote The Darkness along with Shayne Armstrong and S.P. Krause. Jason Blum, Bianca Martin and Matt Kaplan serve as producers.
